Another special voyage, around the Canary Isles and Morocco

Saga Ruby Ship

As this is the last year this beautiful ship, the “Saga Ruby” will be in service, we’ve been inundated with requests from you, asking if we would try to arrange a special Maritime Memories voyage aboard her.

Well I’m pleased to let you know that we’re currently talking to Saga about us doing her penultimate voyage. How exciting to be able to enjoy sailing on what surely is, one of the most beautiful, iconic and loved ocean liners in the world.

As I’m sure you all know, she was the last ocean liner to have been built in the UK. Launched in Newcastle in 1973, she previously served as the Vistafjord with Norwegian’America and Cunard, before being renamed the Caronia and in true Caronia tradition, she really is absolutely magnificent.

This voyage will depart November 23rd from Southampton, taking us on a 12 night voyage all around the Canary Isles and Morocco, (yes, we actually get some beautiful sunshine as well) arriving back in Southampton on the 5th December.

We’re confident we can arrange this truly unforgettable voyage and I promise you, we’ll have an end of voyage farewell party for her, that only we Maritime Memories people can give. We also hope to have a special deal for you, but a word of warning, space aboard will be limited so this is an early warning to enable you to make sure you are one of the lucky ones to be part of this very special maritime event.
